Aurora and I got to go on a field trip with her new preschool (she is not starting until the end of the month) yesterday. There is a guy out in Alpine named Railroad Roy. He build a railroad in his backyard and gives free rides on it. It was amazing. Everything was very authentic. Here are the pictures we took. The picture that is of a view of trees and mountains, that is the view from the tracks in his yard. The two dark mountains in the middle are actually in Riverside county about 150 miles away from Alpine. It was a cool place to go see.

Zoo
Yesterday Aurora and I went to the zoo for a couple of hours. Here are some pictures I took. If you look really close on the log in the left corner of the first two pictures there is a duck. Aurora thought it was so funny that there was a duck in with the gorillas.

What to do on a boring Saturday night?

Storytime
Aurora loves to read. She will take books off of her book shelf and sit there reading them, but she has not figured out that there is less to clean up if you put one away as soon as you are done with it before getting another one out. Maybe someday she will figure it out.

Name that song
Right now this is Aurora's favorite song to see. Guess what it is from.

Our weekend trip
Last Saturday we went up to Long Beach with my brother-in-law to the Star Trek Tour. Aurora loves the original Star Trek which she calls "Kirk and Spock". SHe had fun sitting on the bridge and looking at all of the different things. Here are some pictures.
