Merry Christmas

We had a nice quiet Christmas this year.  Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Sugar cookies

Aurora and I made sugar cookies for Santa Christmas eve. Here are some pictures of her decorating them.  I can not believe how grown up she is getting.

Ice Skating

Jay took the friday before Christmas off work and we decided to take Aurora ice skating at Conagra. It was her first time ice skating, if we go again will not be there.  We got there and found out they did not have any skates big enough for Jay so he had to just watch us. Then we had to wait over 20 minutes to get the right size skates for Aurora, there were too many people and it was not that well organized, but it was fun to watch Aurora try to ice skate anyways.  Here are some pictures.

This was the day before Christmas eve, and Bob's last day to cause trouble.  When he left with Santa he left his notebook for Aurora and a M&M filled candy cane. Bye Bob see you next year.

Ward Christmas party

We had our ward Christmas party last night.  The primary put acted out the Christmas story, and Aurora got to be Mary.  She also had a special singing part with a couple of other kids.  We brought one of her baby dolls to be baby Jesus. In the middle of the play one of the nursery age girls snuck on stage and tried to steal baby Jesus, Aurora saved him though.  At the end of the night Santa showed up.

School Concert and Christmas dress

 Aurora had her school concert last Thursday.  I pulled out her Christmas dress to wear for it and did her hair up pretty.  The school was having their holiday store at the same time and Santa came.  Here are some pictures of Aurora in front of our tree in her dress, at her school concert and with Santa.  There are two videos at the very end also.

My mom bought Aurora a cute Santa letter paper with envelope. Bob found it and started a letter writing what he wanted.  Aurora needs to finish it and sned it to Santa.

Early Christmas

My mom came out this week to visit and my dad came out Friday night so we could have an early Christmas.  Here are some pictures from their visit.

My mom bought Aurora a little tree and ornaments for her bedroom, and they spent an afternoon decorating it.  It even has peace sign ornaments.
