Bob decided to see what he looked like with Aurora's hair clips on.

Aurora was playing Wii Fit and it was fun to watch her try to hula hoop.  She does not quite get it.

This morning Aurora found Bob had been doing puzzles last night.

This morning Aurora woke up to find Bob had made her chocolate chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.  What a nice elf!

Happy Thanksgiving, and Welcome Back Bob!!!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful relaxing day. The weather was amazing, shorts in November in Nebraska!!! Aurora wrote a letter to Santa awhile back asking of her elf Bob could come back. He send her a card telling her Bob was coming, and he showed up on Thanksgiving. So now we get to see what kind of trouble he causes every night.

Halloween

Here are pictures from our Halloween this year.

Pumpkin craving:

My mom sent us craft pumpkins that she had craved "Aurora" and "Norlunds". She also had stickers in the package for Aurora to decorate her pumpkin and iron-ons to make a Halloween shirt.

All ready to go trick or treating. Jay stayed home to hand out candy and I went out with Aurora and the neighbors. She had so much fun running from house to house with them.

We had a great time on our first Halloween in our new neighborhood.

New House

We bought a house!!! It is a 3 bedroom 3 bath. We have great neighbors. On the day we had our walk through they came over to meet us, then on the day we moved in Dave came over and helped Jay unpack the truck. Then later that night he stopped by to give us jambalaya. They have a TV in the garage and have BBQs when the Huskers are playing. We have gone over a couple of times. Here are pictures of the house

The extra bedroom is not done yet, it is going to be my craft room for now, and I do not have pictures of our bedroom.

First and Last

Aurora started 1st grade this year. We were in the middle of buying a house so Aurora started first grade in one school and then had to transfer to a different one about a month later. She did great with the transition. Here are some pictures of her first and last day in Tara Heights:
