Aurora started kindergarten today. Here are some pictures we took. The first two were taken last night at the back to school night. Today they did not let parents in the classroom, we just dropped them off in front of the classroom.
On Saturday we went to the outlet mall to a end of summer fair that they had. There were a few games. Then we went by the sheriff's thing, and they had a "ride" that shows you what it feels like to crash into a brick wall at 5 mph, Aurora wanted to try it. The officer slowed it down to 3 mph for her. She thought it was fun. Here is a picture of her getting her seatbelt on and a video of her ride.
After the ride she got to side in the back of a cop car.
On Saturday we went to the Sarpy County Fair. It was hot, but we had fun. Aurora loved the petting zoo, and the funnel cake.
Aurora's hair is long enough to do different things with it. We have been trying different styles to see what is fast and easy to do for school. She starts next Tuesday.
I know it has been a while since my last post. So here are a couple of picture highlights of June.
Aurora went on a hike with Jay and they yong men. Here is a picture of her in the car after, it was hot and sticky.
Our ward had a "county fair" for an activity. They wanted everyone to dress country, and then they crowned a queen, king, prince, and princess. Aurora was crowned princess. Here she is with her crown.
