SO we finally got a new camera and Aurora is loving it. She loves to have her picture taken and to make videos. All morning she has been asking me to record her and then play it back for her to watch. She thinks she is the cutest, and so do I. I wanted to share some of these with all of you.

11 Miles!!
On Saturday I had my longest walk yet. 11 miles! The team and I took the Coaster Train from Solano Beach up to Oceanside and then walked back. I did not have to walk all the way back (18 miles) that was for the ones who are doing the full marathon. It was a beautiful walk along the coast. My feet are sore but I sure was proud of myself for completing it. I wish I had had my camera but it is broken, so as soon as some of my teammates get their pictures up I will post them so you can see how beautiful the walk was.

I'm Jen
Once I was done she went runnign to Jay saying "Look I'm Jen". When I tried to touch the ponytail to fix it she got mad at me and told me "You'r going to break my Jen off". She comes up with some of the weirdest things sometimes.

What is going on with us?
So for my first blog I thought I would update everyone about our lives, not that there is much to tell. Jay is working hard as a Customer Service Supervisor at an alarm company. He is also working on getting his real estate license. Between those two things and being a husband and father he tends to set pretty busy.
Aurora is two need I say more. She is full of enegry and thinks she is older then she is. Staying home with her keeps me on my toes. She is learning her ABC's and loves to spell her name so you can write it for her. She is growing up so fast and it is hard to think that she is not my little baby anymore.
As for me, I am enjoying being a stay-at-home mom. I am also training for a half marathon with Team in Training. Just last Saturday I walked 8 miles around Coronado. It was a beautiful walk, but even at 8 in the morning it sure was hot. So between raising a daughter, training for a marathon, and raising money for the marathon I seem to have my hands full these days. Check out my website for the marathon to see how I am doing: http://www.active.com/donate/tntsdh/jennorlund
