SNOW

It snowed on Santurday.  It did not stop until some time after 6.  The first 3 pictures were taken around 11:30.  Then the rest are from when Aurora and I went out to shovel the driveway and ended up playing with her friend up the street.  Her friend Faith came over when she saw us out there and her dad sent her brother over with the snow blower to clear the driveway and side walk for us. Those pine trees on the side of the house are ours, I love how they look covered in snow.

Smurfs

The smurf movie came out yesterday and on of the websites I am a member of (crowdtap.com) selected us to throw a smurf party.  Aurora had so much fun.  She has not seen her friends from Tara Heights since we moved.  It was fun to have them all together.  I made them all smurf hats, we painted faces, made smurfs out of clay, played freeze dance, played "Pop a Smurf" (I put the names of smurfs inside blue balloons and they had to pop a balloon then act out the smurf and everyone else had to guess who they were.  They loved it.  We also colored at the end just before everyone got picked up.  What a nice way to end the evening.  For snacks we had smurfberry muffins shaped like butterflies, bees and ladybugs, smurfberry cake, smurfberry juice, and cinnamon roll popcorn with smurfberries.  I forgot to get a picture of all the food, but I did get a picture of the muffins.

We are having a smurf party tonight.  Last night Bob pulled all of the stuff for it out and put on a smurf hat.

Aurora's room

Over Thanksgiving break I painted Aurora's room.  I am almost finished decorating it. My mom is going to bring us some vinyl letters for over the bed.  She still loves the princess and the peace sign stuff so we are trying to make the two fit together.
