Warning!! Picture overload!

So I have been horrible at updates. Here is a brief overview of what we have been doing from Aurora's birthday to the last day of summer.

Playing at the park

Zoo with Kenna

Easter

Kindergarten Field trip to Gifford Farm
Hiking at the Wildlife Safari
Cuddling Daddy
Playing at the splash pad
Crafts during the summer
Dress up tea party

Zoo with all the Brandvold cousins

Stormchaser game with Opa
The next set of pictures are just a few of my favorites from the trip Aurora and I took to see my parents. We had a good time, but we misses Opa for most of it. My grandpa passed away the first day we were there and Opa had to go out to Arizona. Aurora and I were still able to have fun with Oma, and the dogs. Aurora and Ziva became best friends.

Pretending to milk a cow in Intercourse

Relaxing with Oma and the dogs.

Bedtime with her new mask. Zeva laid with Aurora every night until Aurora was asleep.

Face painting and having fun at the children's museum
Gardening with Oma
A visit with Oma and Opa would not be complete without seeing the horses. Even though Tinkerbell no longer lives with Oma's other horses she made it possible for Aurora to spend some time with Tinkerbell.

And of course we had to go to the Hershey factory with Oma and Opa
They were tired of me taking pictures

We got to go to the new Turkey Hill Experience and see how they make their ice cream, and sample it.

The last day of summer I took Aurora to the zoo just the two of us.

Aurora's 6th birthday party

We had Aurora's birthday party at a local bowling ally. All of the girls had fun. I made Aurora a peace sign dress, and a peace sign cake. Here is a picture where you can see Aurora's "pink hair" (no it is not really dyed). The girls having fun, and Jay helping them all. Getting ready. Celebrating Aurora's strike! (She bowled I think 104.) The banner and cake.

Opening presents.

First haircut

Aurora has been asking to get her hair cut. She wanted bangs, so Oma took her to get it cut just before her birthday party.

Here is the final results. She also got a barret with pink hair so she could have a strip of color in her hair without really dying her hair. I did not get a picture of her at the saloon with it in.

Swim lessons

Aurora started swim lessons on the same day as her birthday party. She loves being in the water. We got her a new swimsuit that of course has peace signs on it. (She is obessed with them right now). Waiting for her class to start.

Hanging out with friends.

Getting in:

Playing with cousins

Oma came out for Aurora's birthday, and she brought Aurora's cousins over to our house to play. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids playing. Brayden was all about the video games, Aurora played some with him and then went into the bedroom to play with the girls. They have a lot of fun together.

Catching Leprechauns

For Saint Patrick's Day Aurora made a leprechaun trap to take to school. The principal asked if she and a friend would be on the school news to talk about how to catch a leprechaun. Here is a picture of Aurora at school with her trap and a video of her talking on the news. A leprechaun did fall into her trap but got out. He did leave a note and chocolate coins for all of the kids. (I did not get a picture of the note.)

Cuddle time

When I had my surgery a few weeks ago, my mom came out to help us out. I forgot I had taken this picture and I just saw it today. Aurora and Oma spent a lot of time together and I love this picture of them cuddling on the couch watching TV. Thank you Mom for coming out to be here with us. We had a great time with you and we miss you.
