Playing with cousins

Oma came out for Aurora's birthday, and she brought Aurora's cousins over to our house to play. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids playing. Brayden was all about the video games, Aurora played some with him and then went into the bedroom to play with the girls. They have a lot of fun together.

Catching Leprechauns

For Saint Patrick's Day Aurora made a leprechaun trap to take to school. The principal asked if she and a friend would be on the school news to talk about how to catch a leprechaun. Here is a picture of Aurora at school with her trap and a video of her talking on the news. A leprechaun did fall into her trap but got out. He did leave a note and chocolate coins for all of the kids. (I did not get a picture of the note.)

Cuddle time

When I had my surgery a few weeks ago, my mom came out to help us out. I forgot I had taken this picture and I just saw it today. Aurora and Oma spent a lot of time together and I love this picture of them cuddling on the couch watching TV. Thank you Mom for coming out to be here with us. We had a great time with you and we miss you.

Bedtime Suprise

Aurora made our bed for us yesterday. When we got ready for bed we found a note under the
top pillow.

Here is a close up of the note:
It says: Dear mom and dad plaese look under your pillows even the midle love Aurora PS i love you. Those are hearts before and after the ps. She needs to work on her spelling still.

And under the middle we found blow pop minis, we found them after I had put the camera away. Aurora is so sweet.

Crazy old lady

Aurora lost two teeth recently. When I blow dry her hair after her showers she makes weird faces in the mirror so she can see the holes. I think it makes her look like a crazy old lady. You can see one of the adult teeth growing in already :( Does she really have to grow up this fast?

Snowman and a snowball fight

After work today Jay took Aurora outside to build a snowman. She has been asking to build one since it first started snowing, so since it was warmer today (almost 40) they did it.

Once the snowman was built Aurora started a snowball fight. Jay was a good sport to go out in the cold with her. I stayed inside and took the pictures. Isn't that what dads are for?

Snow Day

We had a snow day today. Aurora went out and played a little. This around 11:30 this morning. It is still snowing and her tracks and the snow angel she made are almost completely filled in already. We tried to make a snowman, but it is just powder and will not stick together enough to make one.
