On Saturday I got up early and took her to the Santee Lakes for their Easter Egg Hunt. There was so much to do. Aurora did the egg hunt and won a gift certificate to a place called Bears, Buddies, and Toys. Then she got to ride a pony, pet a pig, have her face painted, do some crafts and ride on some rides. What a way to start the Easter weekend.
Last thursday our ward had an Easter egg hunt at Santee lakes. The kids had a lot of fun. After looking for eggs wehad lunch and then the kids played on the playground while the moms spent some time talking. Here are some pictures of Aurora. In the last picture she is pouting because we got there early and her friends were not there yet.
Aurora loves to watch the Food Network with us. So now she likes to play "cooking show" in my kitchen. The first video she did not know I was taping her and she got embarrassed and then I talked her into letting me tape it as long as I did not look. She cracks me up.

So it has been one month since the surgery. It does not feel like it has been that long because I have only been home for 2 weeks. I can not believe that a whole month has gone by already. Every day gets better, and we are all doing good. I am so glad to have it done and over with, and now we can start to move forward with our lives. Aurora has been good through it all. During the day she tries to help me with what she can. She is getting so big. In just one week she will be 4. Where does the time go? I thank the Lord every day that I was blessed with a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. I have so much to be thankful for and I will never take for granted the blesses I have been given.
